Sir Lindsay Hoyle opened up Prime Minister’s Question by making reference to David Amess’ mass which was held the day before and remarked he wanted to see a continuation of the decorum showed there. However, Boris Johnson’s recent CBI speech disaster energised backbench MPs who repeatedly jeered and ridiculed the Prime Minister for his actions. As Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer began asking questions, Sir Lindsay had enough and rose from his seat to calm things down and to remember David Amess.
