The leader of the Brexit Party was invited on stage by the President of the United States, who labelled him one of Europe’s “most powerful men”. Addressing the crowds at the Make America Great Event in Phoenix, Arizona, Mr Trump jokingly described Mr Farage as “a very non-controversial person” and “shy”.
In response, Mr Farage said: “Oh I am non-controversial and shy – compared to you.”
He went on to deliver “the Brexit message” as he lauded Mr Trump as the “bravest person” he had ever met.
Mr Farage added: “I have got to say four years ago I was honoured to come to America to bring the Brexit message, the message that you can beat the establishment.
“That is what Donald Trump did, he beat the pollsters, beat the media and beat all the predictions and the worst thing is they have never forgiven him for it.
“Four years of the Russia hoax, four years of false impeachment, most human beings under that barrage would have given up.
“This is the single most resilient and bravest person I have ever met in my life.
“And when you vote next week you are not just voting for who the president of the United States of America is, as vital as that question may be.
“You are voting for the leader of the free world.

“You are voting for the only current leader in the free world who has got the guts to stand up and fight for the nation state, to fight for patriotism and to fight against globalism.”
Mr Farage also used his time on stage to launch an attack on China’s ruling Communist Party.
He said: “You will be voting for the only leader in the western world with the real courage to stand up to the Chinese communist party.
“You will be voting for decency, plain speaking and a man who in four years has not just cut your taxes, hasn’t just improved the economy, but a man who right now is bringing Israel together with Arab nations in a way that no-one ever believed was possible.

“That is what he has done and I wish you Godspeed, I really do.”
Mr Trump thanked the former Ukip leader, adding that he was glad he asked him to join him on stage.
He returned the praise by saying Mr Farage was “responsible for a lot of things that happened over in Europe, very positive things too.”
Mr Farage was exempt from the US travel ban thanks to a “national interest” permission.
He had previously insisted he is certain Mr Trump will win the upcoming election.
Speaking to Jonathan Saxty on Brexit Watch, Mr Farage said: “I’ve watched with amusement at commentators in this country saying, ‘it’s a slam dunk, Biden’s won, Trump’s got no chance’.
“It’s all a replay of what we saw back in 2016. I say 100 percent of those that go out to vote on November 3, Donald Trump will win a majority in the electoral college. I say that 100 percent.
“What I don’t know is the extent to which this early mail-in voting is being used and potentially abused.
“If we finished with a situation where 10 days after Trump has won the election and it turns out Biden’s won the election then America is going to be in very real trouble.
“One of the things we tried to do in the Brexit Party was wake people up to the scale of abuse to postal voting in our country.
“That is the dark cloud that hangs over the US election and I just don’t know the numbers involved at this stage, no one does.”
