1 dead after Ford Mustang, bicycle collide in Aurora – The Denver Post

One person is dead after a Ford Mustang and a bicycle collided in Aurora Thursday night, police said.

Aurora police said the crash happened at East Hampden Avenue and South Kalispell Street just before 9:15 p.m. when the black Ford Mustang, which was driving west on East Hampden Avenue collided with a man who was riding his bicycle north on South Kalispell Street.

Police said the bicyclist was in the crosswalk, but it’s not clear at this time who had the right-of-way. The driver of the Mustang stayed at the scene of the crash and police said speed or alcohol do not appear to have been a factor.

The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
