A mum has tragically died just months after her popular teenage son's death.
The 16-year-old died in March after suffering a severe allergic reaction upon eating a kebab.
Tragically, Nick Kelly's mum Kim, died on Sunday after being rushed to hospital following "severe headaches."
The 36-year-old was taken to hospital on Friday September 11 and died just two days later, reports Liverpool Echo.
Kim was found to have a serious bleed on her brain and her condition deteriorated over the weekend before she died on Sunday.
Her long term partner Chris Kelly has said that Kim was also found to have undiagnosed leukaemia at the time of her death.
He now faces a life raising their other three children by himself after losing his son and Kim in the space of six months.
Posting on his Facebook page, Chris paid tribute to the mother of his kids and described her as an angel.
He said: "Can't believe how empty the house feels without you here Kim.
"Miss you shouting down to me to make a brew for you.
"We are missing you more than words can say.
"It hurts my throat when I cry myself to sleep at night my heart feels so heavy and so empty.
"You where taken away from us way way to soon, just like Nick was Kim.
"God has taken another angel away from us."
Back in March, Chris paid tribute to "happy go lucky" Nick whose death shocked the city.
He told the ECHO : "Everybody loved Nick.
