Easter Bank Holiday weekend revellers have flocked to the pubs and clubs of Britain as a bumper four-day party begins.
Most Brits are off from today, Good Friday, and will be off until Easter Monday, April 10, and so in true British fashion have hit the pubs and clubs early.
On Thursday night, streets up and down the country became like a fever dream as drinkers in fancy dress flocked to pubs in Leeds, Leicester, Newcastle and beyond.
Everything from tiaras and bunny ears to onesies and video game characters were spotted marching down the streets in anticipation of a good time.
One woman even donned an outfit of Greggs apparel including the bakery’s very own boxer shorts.
And an expert has predicted that the Easter weekend will herald warmer temperatures with highs of 12C and potentially 18C coming, before then reaching as high as 25C.
But Bank Holiday Monday could see a slight dip, as the weather shows heavy showers and strong winds could return.
