Boulder shooting: What we know so far about the King Soopers shooting

The Boulder Police Department is responding to an active shooter situation at a King Soopers. This file will be updated with the latest information as it becomes available.

Where is the shooting?

The scene is at the King Soopers at 3600 Table Mesa Drive. The store anchors a large shopping center in the southern part of Boulder, a few blocks from Fairview High School.

What should Boulder residents do?

The city of Boulder issued an emergency notification around 5 p.m. Monday for residents near 17th and Grove to shelter in place. Residents should stay inside and avoid the area completely.

Authorities haven’t provided any information about possible deaths or injuries as of 5 p.m. Monday.
