A cat who was branded "ugly" by visitors to an animal rescue shelter and constantly ignored over her "grumpy face" has finally found a forever home.
Bean's new owner, Francisca Franken, was browsing the shelter's website when she came across the unusual moggy.
"I saw her photo and fell in love the second I saw her," she told The Dodo.
"Well, at first I laughed because the pictures were so funny and I'd never seen a cat like this before."
She immediately wrote to the shelter to see if the cat was available, and was so nervous she couldn't sleep.
But when the shelter rang back, they couldn't believe she actually wanted Bean.
"I got a call from a friendly lady from the rescue who asked me if Bean was really the cat I wanted to apply for because, apparently, nobody had been interested in her before," she said.
"The woman who called me was scared that I just pressed the wrong button or something."

Before she was rescued, Bean had been a stray living in a trailer park.
She was suffering from an eye infection as well as a host of other diseases and had never lived in a home.
Franken said when she met Bean she was amazed at how tiny she was.
"She has very stubby legs and a short tail and the flattest face I had ever seen," she said.
"I started crying when I walked into her room because I was so overwhelmed."
She added that a lot of people who had seen her at the shelter had apparently said she was "ugly".
Franked added that in the beginning, Bean showed her gratitude by being extra cuddly and clingy.
But after a while, she realised she didn't have to pretend and started showing off her "sassy" side.
Even so, Franken said she loves her even more for revealing her "true colours".
Bean now sleeps in bed with Franken every night and has to always be in the same room as her.
As well as her new owner, she is said to be mad about olives and goes crazy whenever she smells them or the brine they're kept in.
Franken described how the first time Bean stole an olive was when she was having a midnight snack and she ran up to her and knocked it out of her hand.
She then ran away to eat her stolen prize under the sofa.
There is a logical explanation for the obsession.
Green olives and pimentos contain isoprenoids, a chemical with a similar makeup to catnip.
Bean is said to be so obsessed that she screams at Franken every time she sees her take them out of the fridge.
Thankfully, they are safe for cats in moderation, so she is allowed a few as a reward.
Franken shares her adventures with Bean on her cat's personal Instagram account.
