There’s a chance of rain showers and thunderstorms in Denver over the next three days as a storm system moves over northern Colorado.
On Thursday afternoon, skies will be partly sunny and there’s a 50% chance of showers, according to the National Weather Service. Winds could gust as high as 33 mph and the high temperature will hit 67 degrees.
On Thursday night, snow is likely in the mountains and rain showers, along with a few thunderstorms, are expected on the Eastern Plains, the weather service said.
On Friday in Denver, there’s a chance of rain showers with possible afternoon thunderstorms. Clouds will increase during the day, bringing a 50% chance of precipitation. Winds could gust to 22 mph and the high temperature should top out at near 60 degrees.
There’s a slight chance for showers between noon and 3 p.m. on Saturday in Denver, according to the NWS forecast. Skies will be mostly sunny, and the high temperature will be near 64 degrees with a 20% chance of precipitation.
Drier and warmer weather conditions are expected on Sunday and into early next week.
