A sicko doctor who "raped a heavily-sedated pregnant woman while she was having a C-section" is being investigated for five similar incidents, two of which happened the same day the young mum was allegedly assaulted.
Anaesthesiologist Giovanni Quintella Bezerra was arrested at the Women's Hospital in Sao Joao de Meriti, Rio de Janeiro state, Brazil, in the early hours of Monday.
Staff at the hospital are said to have secretly filmed him allegedly sexually assaulting a patient whose C-section surgery he was participating in.

Medical colleagues claim to have been suspicious of the doctor's behaviour, especially the high doses of sedatives he allegedly gave pregnant women.
They decided to change the room one delivery was due to take place in at the last minute in a bid to secretly film him on a hidden mobile phone.
Now, it has transpired that the sick doc is being investigated for six alleged rapes against pregnant women during labour.
According to delegate Bárbara Lomba, other victims came forward after the video in which he allegedly rapes a pregnant woman at the Hospital da Mulher Heloneida Studart, in Baixada Fluminense, surfaced.
Bezerra is being investigated for three rapes, including the incident which was filmed by nurses who suspected the potential crime, on July 10.
The other three are women who went to the police station after the complaint came to light. Of these, one is from another hospital unit.

The mother of one of the alleged victims even reported to police that her daughter came back from a caesarean section with her face smeared with something white, looking like “dry husks”, similar to semen.
“When my daughter came in from the operating table, still unconscious, she came in dirty. I noticed on her face and neck some dry, white scabs. I didn't know what it was. I thought it was some medicine that I had spilled," she said to TV Globo.
After the grim video of one incident was released, the anaesthesiologist was arrested.
Bezerra appeared in court for the first time Tuesday, where a judge sentenced him to indefinite detention in solitary confinement while the case is investigated.
Mail Online reports that he has been locked up at Bangu prison, where prisoners booed and jeered as he arrived last night, July 12.
