Kate Middleton makes cute nod to Princess Diana with stunning Ascot outfit

Kate Middleton has been spotted sporting a very familiar looking dress at the Royal Ascot races in a cute nod to Princess Diana.

The Duchess of Cambridge has been seen wearing a polka dot dress in almost identical style and fashion to that of Prince William and Prince Harry's mother.

Along with the stunning dress she wore to the races today, Kate wore a pair of Princess Diana's diamond and pearl earrings to fit with the outfit.

Royal Family fans adored the dress, taking to Twitter to tell of their love for the Duchess of Cambridge's outfit choice and style.

One adoring fan said it was "time to go back to fangirling" over Middleton, who was sporting a dress almost identical to that of one worn by Princess Diana.

Another user wrote: "High neck on a hot day – she's going to melt bless her" followed by a series of purple hearts for the Duchess of Cambridge.

Middleton's dress was almost identical in style to that of a dress worn by Princess Diana to the 1988 Royal Ascot, where she was seen sporting a navy and white polka dot attire.

Social media posts flowed with compliments for the Duchess of Cambridge, with one saying she looked "fabulous," while another said the royal looked "beautiful," at the event.

William and Kate are attending the Royal Ascot without the Queen being present, with Her Majesty not expected to attend the event, The Sun reported.
