Kate Middleton has accidentally shared her most-used emojis when she flashed her phone in a recent clip – which includes a cucumber symbol and a swearing face.

The Duchess of Cambridge posted a video on Instagram, Kensington Royal, where she hosted a virtual Q&A session about the Early Years, a campaign to help infants from pregnancy to children up to the age of five.

At the beginning of the clip, she thanks her followers for sending in questions "with wonderful emojis attached to them".

She shows her phone to the camera as she scrolls the screen up along the comments page.

A bar of recommended or frequently used emojis can be seen appearing above the text, box and it appears to include a purple alien monster, a swearing face and an emoji of two girls holding hands together.

Vegetable symbols seem to be one of her favourite messaging emojis as the bar reveals a pineapple sign and a cucumber symbol.

There is also a bowing woman sign, which could be interpreted as expressing since apology or asking for a big favour.

A vomiting emoji – a symbol used to represent illness or disgust – appears next to the cucumber emoji.

And the last one on the list is a "dashing" wind cloud emoji, which is commonly represents as moving quickly.

Kate also explains the reason that sparks her interest in the Early Years.

She says: "I actually get asked this question a lot. I think that people assume that because I am a parent, that's why I have taken an interest in the early years.

"I think this really is bigger than that. This isn't just about happy, healthy children. This is about the society we could and can become."
