Man critically injured after being shot in the gut with crossbow

A man has been shot in the stomach with a crossbow, and is now in a life-threatening condition in hospital.

Police descended on Pield Heath Road, near the junction with Copperfield Avenue in Uxbridge, west London, on the evening of September 14 at 8.08pm.

A 33-year-old man was found with an abdominal injury caused by a crossbow arrow.

He is currently being treated at a west London hospital.

The Metropolitan Police said in a statement: “There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.

“Cordons remain in place at the scene.

“Witnesses, or anyone with information, should call police on 101 quoting CAD 7227/14Sep. To remain anonymous, please contact Crimestoppers.”
