A mother and son tragically fell to their deaths after toppling over the railing at a baseball stadium.
Raquel Wilkins, 40, was holding her two-year-old son, Denzel Browning-Wilkins, when they both horrifically fell over the railing of the dining area three storeys up at Petco Park stadium, San Diego.
The mother-of-one had reportedly got engaged earlier that day.
A witness told NBC 7 that Raquel lost her balance after jumping onto a bench near the railing.
Police say they are carrying out an "exhaustive investigation" and are currently deeming the deaths as "suspicious".
The tragic incident happened just before the start of Saturday's San Diego Padres game.
A spokesperson for San Diego Police Department said: "The Police Department understands the interest in this tragic event and the questions that have arisen.
"How and why this happened are questions on the mind of many, especially the investigators looking for answers in this heart-breaking case."
The police department say they are interviewing multiple witnesses due to the large crowd in the stadium.

San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria said there were "a lot of unusual circumstances around the case".
One witness said it seemed like Wilkins was having fun and joking around before the incident.
The mum was then seen "jumping on the bench of the table closest to the railing, holding the baby in her arms," the witness stated.
They added: "She lost her balance and fell off the bench. I remarked to my son, ‘Oh my gosh she almost fell.’”
The police department said they will provide an update on their investigation "when appropriate" and are still sorting through the numerous witness accounts.
Investigations into the incident remain ongoing.
