Prince Harry going out of his way not to hurt Queen in his tell-all memoir

Prince Harry is said to be going “out of his way” to make sure his tell-all memoir isn’t damaging towards the Queen.

The Duke of Sussex is set to publish his memoir later this year, with the book being he and Meghan Markle’s “finale moment” according to their biographer Omid Scobie.

The Harper’s Bazaar royal editor insists that the book will not be “warts and all”, OK! Magazine reports.

In fact, the Finding Freedom author claims Prince Harry is going “out of his way” to ensure nothing in the book could be damaging to his beloved grandmother.

During an episode of the Royally Obsessed podcast, Scobie said: “I've been told by sources that Harry is going out of his way to make sure there is nothing in there that could be construed as being negative towards the Queen or her reign in any way.”

He added: “I don't' think that 'warts and all' moment is going to happen”.

Representatives for Harry have been approached for comment.

When news of the forthcoming book first landed, many were fearful about what it could contain.

Initial speculation suggested it could lay bare the Prince's true feelings towards his step-mother Camilla with some suggesting it would “shake the monarchy to its core”.

Harry signed a £14million memoir deal with prize winning author J R Moehringer on what his publishers have described as “the definitive account of the experience, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him.”

It is thought Harry did not warn the Royal Family of his decision to write a book and that they were left “blindsided” by the announcement.

Harry has always shared a particularly close bond with Her Majesty, so it's likely that any revelations he does make will not include her.

During his and Meghan's Oprah interview he spoke of his “respect” for his grandmother and said that he had spoken to her a great deal recently.

Meanwhile Meghan gushed that she “loved” being in the Monarch's company, saying: “The Queen has always been wonderful to me.”
