An unlikely royal pair enjoyed a heartwarming bonding moment at Her Majesty's funeral yesterday (September 19).
Princess Charlotte and her uncle Prince Harry sat side by side during the committal service at Windsor Castle's St George's Chapel, before the late monarch was laid to rest alongside her husband.
At one point, Charlotte, seven, was spotted adjusting her hat before catching the Duke of Sussex's eye, and the pair exchanged a smile.

Royal fans on Twitter were quick to notice the adorable moment, with one commenting: "I thought I just caught a little exchange between Harry and Charlotte. I hope someone captures it on camera."
Another chimed in: "Cute little smile between Harry and little Charlotte."
Harry and his niece were sat together between Harry's wife Meghan Markle and Charlotte's mum Kate Middleton.
Also in attendance was Charlotte's brother Prince George who at just nine years of age is now second in line for the throne.
It was unclear at first whether the royal youngsters would be attending the funeral, but ultimately ended up walking directly behind the Queen's coffin alongside their mum and dad – a last-minute decision that triggered mixed reactions from royal fans.

Taking to Twitter, one critic wrote: "Prince George & Princess Charlotte to walk behind the coffin of the Queen today. Disgraceful decision. Probably yet another decision made to get at Prince Harry. He has spoken out about how being forced to walk behind his mother’s coffin traumatised him."
However, others called the decision an "extremely good idea".
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told the Daily Star yesterday: "They have both accompanied their parents abroad and it was an extremely good idea to involve both George and Charlotte on this unique and momentous day.
"The world is indeed watching, but these are totally different circumstances to the funeral of the Princess of Wales."

The Queen's funeral was attended by more than 2,000 people in person, while it is estimated that a whopping four billion people worldwide tuned in to watch the event from home.
Her Majesty died after an incredible 70-year rule, making her the longest-reigning monarch in British history.
