Russia issues chilling nuke threat to erase huge area of Europe right next to UK

A Russian propagandist has made a terrifying claim about wanting to wipe a massive part of Western Europe from the map.

Footage gathered from Russian state TV shows notorious Kremlin mouthpiece Vladimir Solovyov talking with Russian Duma member Andrey Gurulyov about the merits of a Russian pre-emptive strike rather than a counter-strike.

"Macron supplies the tanks and we give them a preemptive strike against France as a party to the conflict," he said.

Gurulyov then warned that France would be regarded as a part of the war if it “harm[s] openly, fearing nothing".

He added: “There should be no France.

"There was France and now there is no France. Would anyone be upset about that?"

Later in the charming chat, nice guy Gurulyov stated that Russia was more than well enough endowed with ammunition to “destroy France or Britain," Newsweek reports.

Footage of the vile, apocalypse-hungry rhetoric was first posted to Twitter by the Ukrainian minister of internal affairs, Anton Gerashchenko.

On Monday (January 9) he also posted another video featuring French President Emmanuel Macron, in which he said: "When you meet (Putin), he is not unpleasant.

"That's the paradox, you see. I think there is nothing to justify starting a war. He tried to explain that Ukraine threatened him, then through Ukraine the Europeans and Americans threatened Russia's security.

"I don't think that's true.

"Basically, he launched this war to recover territories and to extend Russia's perimeter to the empire that once existed."

Macron has been outspoken in the past in favour of preparing for negotiations with Russia, a deviation from many of his NATO allies.

He said: “We need to prepare what we are ready to do, how we protect our allies and member states, and how to give guarantees to Russia the day it returns to the negotiating table".
