Shocking moment mass brawl erupts in nightclub beer garden as glasses go flying

This is the moment a mass brawl broke out at a nightclub in Glasgow on Bank Holiday Saturday, with video footage showing punters throwing punches and hurling dunks.

The brawl erupted at Sanctuary nightclub on Dumbarton Road, Glasgow at around 7pm, forcing staff to call the police as bouncers struggled with drunken yobs.

Bar staff at the club are were "appalled" by the behaviour of a "small minority" – and branded the disgusting scenes "unacceptable".

The men involved in the fight could be seen launching ice buckets across the table before they throw punches in the beer garden.

Onlookers filmed the fight and said the incident forced people to ignore social distancing rules as they scrambled to get out of the way.

Pals of the feuding group tried to restrain them, but the louts continued with the outward display of violence.

Bosses confirmed police were called to the scene and said nobody was injured in the altercation

It added that it would be working closely with police to bring the men to justice and permanently bar them from the venue.

A spokesman said: "The Sanctuary staff and management are appalled by the behaviour of a small minority of customers who have shown no regard for the safety and wellbeing of those around them.

"We will work with the police to ensure those responsible are dealt with appropriately and they will be barred from the venue.

"At any time this behaviour is unacceptable, but never more so when faced with the current situation.
