Teen lag with name inked on face taunts cops with Facebook pics from inside cell

A face-tattooed teenager has been caught uploading selfies from inside his remand cell and tagging the police station.

Kieran Bond – who has 'Bondy' inked across his forehead was finally caught by police after skipping court to go on the run for three months.

An investigation has now been launched to find out how the 19-year-old managed to post photos of himself on Facebook from behind bars and brazenly shared his location of HMP Forest Bank in Salford, Greater Manchester.

A nationwide manhunt was launched by British Transport Police for Bond over allegations that he made threats while wielding a machete on a train on March 29 last year.

The fugitive of Lichfield Road, Stafford, was finally arrested on Christmas Eve after failing to appear at Cannock Magistrates' Court on October 26.

However, after being detained, Bond appeared to take to Facebook to share pictures from his remand cell in Greater Manchester.

One of the pictures is tagged with the location of HMP Forest Bank in Salford and was posted at 8.54am yesterday (January 4).

A second picture – which now appears to have been deleted – appeared to show him posing with fellow inmates while giving a one-fingered salute to the camera.

Four days ago on New Year's Eve, the Facebook profile – Bondy YnB – was updated to say: "They got me still got the phone tho hahahahhahah free me up."

His friends were quick to react wishing 'Bondy' well. One said: "See u soon my bruvva got dis all da way my g."

A second added: "Lmfao. The cops came here looking for you! Take care lad and hope to see you soon bruv." And a third simply wrote: "Free Kieran 1000%."

HMP Forest Bank confirmed it was illegal for inmates to have phones.

A spokeswoman told StokeonTrentLive: “The use of mobile phones in any prison is illegal, and we constantly review our activity to tackle the issue. Where individual prisoners are identified, action is taken.”
