A suspect in a fatal shooting in northeast Denver has been arrested in Dallas, police said.
On May 7, officers responded to a shooting in the Green Valley Ranch area, in the 4900 block of Fundy Street, according to the Denver Police Department. The shooting victim, a man, died at the scene.
Investigators identified Terrel Morris, 31, as a suspect in the shooting. Morris was arrested Thursday in Texas with the help of the Dallas Police Department.
The police investigation will be presented to the Denver District Attorney’s Office for consideration of charges, if any. The arrest affidavit in the case is sealed.
