A woman was allegedly abducted and raped by two men who then punched her repeatedly in the face.

The victim, aged in her 20s, was targeted in Ilford, east London, on November 25 last year, according to the Metropolitan Police.

She was shoved into a car and sustained injuries during the attack, but eventually managed to escape the vehicle.

Police rushed to the scene, and the victim has since been receiving support from specialist officers.

Officers have released an image of a man they are tracing in connection with the investigation, taken from a shop close to the alleged attack.

The Met said in a statement: "On 27 November 2020, three men were arrested in Lincolnshire in connection with the investigation, one of whom has since been charged with rape. The other two men have been released under investigation.

"Detectives from the East Area Public Protection Unit are investigating, and they are appealing for assistance in tracing another male in connection with the incident."

Anyone who recognises the man from the CCTV still is asked to call 101 and quote CAD 5887/15FEB.
