A woman has ended up stuck in Kiev after she walked to the wrong gate and Ryanair staff failed to notice her boarding pass was for another flight.
Inka Fileva was intent on heading to Valencia, Spain to see her boyfriend who lives out there, but had an unexpected surprise after she arrived in a whole other country.
The 30-year-old, who is originally from Bulgaria but currently lives in London, had bought a ticket for the 7:10am flight to Valencia from Stansted Airport on Sunday, October 18, but things didn't go to plan.
She shared the story on her Facebook account, explaining: "I’m in Kiev at the moment!! Waiting at the airport and the worse part is there is no Ryanair office here so everything is taking ages to sort out!"

"I don’t understand how my ticket got scanned and passed and how I came here without a visa".
Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online, Inka said: "It was so stressful in the beginning, I didn’t understand how my ticket got scanned and they let me go to Kiev.
"I was flying from Stansted Airport and I think I was supposed to go to gate 44, and I ended up in gate 54."
However, this mistake was not corrected once Inka was set to board the plane, as staff scanned her boarding pass and let her on to the flight to Kiev.
"They checked my ticket a few times, I even asked on the plane what time I would arrive in Valencia, and they told me it'd be two hours and fifteen minutes long."
As it was a flight during the early hours of the morning, Inka – who works as a bartender – slept through the whole journey.
When she arrived she was "so scared" as things clicked that she wasn't in Spain once she noticed the signs and all the police looked different.
Meanwhile, Inka's boyfriend was waiting at Valencia airport for her, clueless as to what had happened.
Inka detailed: "I got so scared as the police started approaching me, no one spoke English and they kept asking for my passport.
"The weirdest thing is that I was travelling with my European ID but had my passport in my bag, so they just gave me a stamp and rushed me out."
Completely thrown by the bizarre situation with no idea how she'd ended up in a completely different country, Inka started crying and went to their information point to plead for some help.
At the desk, she says: "No one knew how I got there and they kept asking me for my ticket for Kiev.
"I kept showing them the ticket to Valencia, they couldn’t understand how this happened."
After a long wait at the airport throughout today, Inka praises the very helpful Kiev airport staff, who got in touch with Ryanair and sorted her out with flights back to the UK tomorrow afternoon, and another out to Valencia later in the day.
Unfortunately, there wasn't a Ryanair desk at the Ukraine airport, which "made it more difficult", but she's since been sorted out with a nearby hotel.
However, Inka isn't happy that it's taken the airline over six hours to sort her flights and hotel.
"I’m a solo girl In a foreign country, thank god the airport staff were understanding."
Daily Star Online has approached Ryanair for comment.
