Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are seeing a surge in tourist interest as they visit a new area for their "royal tour" – and its due to to friend of the Duchess' father.

Bus loads of interested individuals are set to find themselves heading to the couple's California estate through a new and costly tour.

The trip around Montecito and beyond could see guided tour members cough up £958.84 for a six-person tour of Sussex hotspots, shattering the peace and shedding new publicity on the duo.

The Royal Celebrity Tour of Los Angeles and Montecito will show off the family home and various favourite restaurants, and the company is owned by a friend of Meghan's estranged father, Thomas Markle.

Photographer Karl Larsen has set up the lucrative tour, allegedly with the approval of Thomas Markle himself.

The tour takes royal-mad fans around a road close to the couple's £11million home, as well as to Meghan's favourite shops and restaurants, as well as a polo club where Meghan and Harry kissed last year.

If that were not enough for those spending nearly a grand on the tour, trips to the likes of Katy Perry and Cameron Diaz's places are also planned.

Meghan's old homes and schools are also available, while a trip to meet Thomas Markle could be included in a massive bundle which expands the trip to Rosarito, Mexico.
