Vladimir Putin has suffered another hammer blow after the Ukraine military fired American missiles and destroyed nine helicopters.<\/p>\n
Ukrainian special forces claimed that they had struck two Russian airfields on Tuesday, successfully destroying swathes of Russian hardware. <\/p>\n
They said they had taken out nine Russian helicopters, an anti-aircraft missile system, and an ammunition warehouse with the use of US-supplied Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) for the first time.<\/p>\n
The attacks reportedly took place in Berdyanskand at an airfield near Luhansk. Berdyansk is, an occupied city in the Zaporizhzhia region while Luhansk is deep into eastern Ukraine.<\/p>\n
Ukrainian forces also allegedly managed to successfully severely damage runways in what military personnel described as \u201cOperation Dragonfly\u201d.<\/p>\n
In a statement, they said: \u201cThe ammunition depot in Berdyansk detonated until 4am. The detonation in Luhansk continued until 11am. Losses in the enemy\u2019s manpower amount to dozens of dead and wounded. Bodies are still being pulled from the rubble.\u201d<\/p>\n
