News of Bray Wyatt’s sudden death reached WWE legend Booker T as he was broadcasting live on his Hall of Fame podcast.
The wrestling superstar tragically died yesterday (August 24) after a heart attack, with legends such as The Rock and Triple H leading tributes.
Booker T was streaming his recent podcast when the news hit and he was visibly distressed.
Co-host Brad Gilmore said: “Um, oh my God. Um, this is happening in real time. I don’t even know if I should read this on the show, but this just came out from Triple H.” and read out the shocking news."

After reading out the tweet, Brad said: “I didn’t mean to drop that right there."
Booker T, real name Booker T. Huffman Jr, seemed visibly shaken by the news.
He quietly asked: “You said Bray Wyatt’s passed away? Ah, man…” before looking down reflectively.
Other WWE luminaries have been quick to share tributes on social media following the sad news.

Bray had been unexpectedly released by the company in 2021 but returned triumphantly in October the following year.
