WWE legend Paul Wight, best known to die-hard fans as The Big Show, took on the Gary Lineker role as AEW's All In event took over Wembley – and made use of the BBC iconic Match of the Day studio.

Many were excited to see the panel for the event's pre-show set up in the Match of the Day box used by Gary Lineker and his fellow football commentators.

Sharing a split screen image of the wrestling commentators and Match of the Day favourite Gary, @IANdrewTheGiant posted on X (formerly Twitter): "In tears. They are in the Match of the Day box for the pre-show. That's wonderful!"

One reacted to the post, which has been viewed almost 11,000 times, by commenting: "Big Show to replace Linekar next time there's a Twitter/X hoohah."

Another wrote: "This is so cool."

Another used the laughing face emojis.

All Elite Wrestling is bringing the action to the famed outdoor football stadium in the company's hugely anticipated UK debut.

It is the first time that professional wrestling has taken centre stage at Wembley Stadium in more than 30 years and will be a homecoming for several top stars including AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter, Saraya, Nigel McGuinness, Pac, Anthony Ogogo and many more.

Earlier this week, we reported how more than 30 years after she stood in the centre of the ring at WWE SummerSlam 1992 at Wembley, Diana Hart Smith’s memories are as vivid as ever.

“It changed my life and I’ve never been the same since that,” she admitted.
